At River City Moto, we know it is imperative that your suspension is set for your specific riding style, terrain, body type, etc. One suspension setup can vary vastly from another. Your bike will come with average settings, but to get the most out of your rides, it needs to be personalised to you. That’s where we come in. We will work with you to ensure all the variables of your suspension settings are dialled in to perfectly match your wants and needs for any riding- off-road, on-road, MX, Enduro, trials, etc.
Once you are happy with your suspension setup, it is critical to take care of it, just as you would your engine. Parts and oil deteriorate the same, so keeping all of the wear items fresh will ensure your suspension continues top performance for you, and you won’t have premature damage. Whether you bring your forks and shock, your whole bike, or need to mail it to us, we’ve got it covered!
Revalving your suspension can be the difference between an hour ride or an all day rally, 1 lap or 5, feeling great tomorrow or down with a bad back. Not only is it important for comfort level, but it’s also key for performance. When we revalve your forks and shock, we begin with information gathering- speaking with you in-depth regarding your riding style, terrain, ability, body type, etc. We will tailor an approach unique to you and your bike to ensure you achieve your desired results.
Sometimes situations change- you may move to an area with different terrain, improve your riding skills, want to try out a new style- motocross, enduro, etc., gain or lose weight, or simply want to try a new dampening system. When this happens, your suspension setup may need updated or upgraded. If you are getting a rebuild, updates to your valving are included, but if you just want an update or upgrade, let us know, and we can work with you to find the perfect new setting or part to fit your needs.
